Where has all the blogging gone?

Looking at this blog (Delaware of the Mind) it becomes alarmingly true and apparent that I haven't ventured to leave any evidence of my passing in a good while. Funny. It is equally evident that there was a moment when this blog filled my time with the desire, should I say need to speak, rant, expose myself nomatter how trivial and trite my output. I'm back, may be a little premature.
I read about You Tube, my student's (I spend my days teaching high school English) have all but abandoned the printed word for the syntax of video or I should say the video equivalent of MYSPACE. And here in the last few days of my winter break (christmas has only "christ" in it, you recall) I've been trying it out and watching. Addictive. I've managed to eat away a block of my precious time as if it were cheese and I were the "house rat" or "house mouse" if you prefer the alliterative flourish.
ALSO: This is the "new" blogger and perhaps it is only the technology that holds me to the screen.
