David Mamet's Spartan

When a fellow film devotee recommended this flick, I was not totally in the dark. Over the years Mamet's terse and intelligent writing has always left me intrigued and mostly satisfied. His look at the world of salesmen in "Glen Gerry Glen Ross" is a masterpiece.
Spartan, a "covert-action, political-intrigue thiller" is no exception. With so much out there to only hum along with, this one makes you want to teeter on the back of your seat and sing the hallelujah chorus!
Mamet is really his own "one man" sent in to save the day.
Kudos.
And thank you, SH!
